Each grade marks a milestone in their Jewish studies by presenting a program to parents, grandparents and special friends.

JK - Jewish Holiday Celebration
From Rosh Hashanah, Sukkot and Chanukah to Purim, Pesach and Shavuot, JK students celebrate the beauty of Ha’Chagim Shelanu with blessings, music, dance and art.
SK – Shabbat Celebration
After learning about the seven days of creation, SK students prepare a presentation about the uniqueness of Shabbat.
Grade 1 – Siddur Ceremony
Students in grade 1 receive their first siddur to mark their accomplishment of learning how to participate in a full service.
Grade 2 – Model Passover Seder
Grade 2 students conduct a Model Passover Seder and share what they have learned about the Passover holiday.
Grade 3 – Chanukah Celebration
Students in grade 3 present their knowledge and understanding of Chanukah with songs and dance.
Grade 4 – Jerusalem Presentation
The many faces of Jerusalem are presented through the eyes of our grade 4 students.
Grade 5 – Israel Presentation
In Grade 5, students prepare a display of the uniqueness and importance of Israel in their lives.
Grade 6 – Tanakh Ceremony
Grade 6 students receive their first Tanakh, which is donated by the Parents’ Association, and can now articulate a comparison from one book to another.
Grade 7 – Yom HaZikaron Commemoration
A reflection of Yom HaZikaron is prepared by our students in grade 7. Working with the ShinShinim, they highlight the importance of Yom HaZikaron and how we prepare to celebrate Yom HaAtzmaut.
Grade 8 – Remembrance Day
Grade 8 students prepare a presentation to honour Canadian soldiers of the past and present.
Yom HaShoah
Using an art exhibit from Yad Vashem, students participate in a family education program with their parents. This is followed by a ceremony to honour those who perished in the Holocaust.
T’fillah Breakfast
A final prayer service is prepared by our graduating class to display all they have accomplished in T’fillah.
